Cipherfall: World Summary
Overview
Cipherfall is a 3D WebGL MMORPG set in a cipherpunk world called Stratum. The game features two opposing player factions (Breakwater and Groundworks), 30 NPC factions, 50+ zones, 1,500+ quests, 1,000+ NPCs, 1,000+ enemy types, and 40+ bosses. The level cap is 30, but the content density and volume match WoW Classic's 1-60 progression.

- Umbra: Underground continent home to the resistance, rogue AI, and forgotten infrastructure.

- Groundworks: Build parallel systems that make the old one obsolete. Focus on infrastructure, encryption, and anonymous trade.

Lore Principles
- No achievements system.
- No crypto-bro jargon.
- No real-world parallels.
- Lore is in the world, not in text dumps.
- Both factions are anti-surveillance. Conflict is ideological.
- Quests serve gameplay, not overwhelming the player with lore.
